Where we work

Fix what breaks when your Irish Shopify brand grows

Last updated

Morsegrid fixes what breaks when an ecommerce brand grows: stock counts that drift, support queues full of noise, and reports that never match. We can work with Irish Shopify brands remotely, in Dublin or anywhere else in Ireland. Every engagement starts with a diagnosis of your own data, and we build only what the diagnosis supports.

What is true today

Our founder is based in Dublin and the team works remotely, so we have no Irish office to visit. We have no published Irish case study yet. The case studies we do have are from brands in the United States and Australia. Three of them are described below, each next to the problem it solved.

Stock counts that drift

When a store, a warehouse and an ERP each keep their own count, the counts stop agreeing. One cause is an open purchase order that your system counts as stock you already hold. We start by finding which count is wrong.

Support queues full of noise

Some of your tickets might not come from customers at all. An order-confirmation email that lands in your own helpdesk can become a ticket nobody is waiting on. Count those before you buy a chatbot.

Calls your helpdesk never sees

A phone line that rings out may create no ticket, so a helpdesk can look healthy while customers give up. For a US automotive parts retailer on Shopify, we measured the real answer rate, built a callback worklist so missed calls stop disappearing, and put an AI voice agent on the hours nobody could staff. Read why your helpdesk shows fewer calls than you get.

Upgrades you may not need

A US subscription brand on Shopify tested a $499-a-month subscription upgrade pitch against its live account and avoided paying for it. Read how to test a vendor pitch against your own account.

Numbers that never match

An Australian online clinic gets a weekly leadership brief that was reconciled to the founder's own spreadsheet, to the dollar, before anyone trusted it.

VAT, GDPR and where we stop

Selling from Ireland brings VAT and data rules that aren't ours to advise on. Revenue publishes its guidance on VAT for ecommerce, including the One-Stop Shop for sales to consumers in other EU countries. The Data Protection Commission is the Irish supervisory authority for GDPR. We're not tax or legal advisers. We work on how your orders, tickets and reports behave, and we'll tell you when a question belongs with an accountant or a solicitor.

Comparing ways to get this done

Morsegrid is a Shopify Partner. If you are comparing ways to get this work done, how to choose an ecommerce operations partner lists the questions to ask. We're one option, not the only one.

Questions

Do you have an office in Ireland?
No. Our founder is based in Dublin, but the team works remotely and there is no office to visit, so we don't publish an Irish address.
Have you worked with an Irish ecommerce brand before?
Not with a published case study. Our published case studies are from the United States and Australia. A diagnosis call is the way to start.
Do you work with Irish brands outside Dublin?
Yes, we can. The work happens on your own Shopify, helpdesk and back-office data, so where in Ireland you are does not change it.
What time zone do you work in?
Part of our team works from Bangladesh, which stays on UTC+6 all year. Ireland is on UTC+0 in winter and UTC+1 in summer, so Dhaka is six hours ahead of Dublin in winter and five hours ahead in summer. We book calls through an online calendar.
Do you give advice on Irish VAT, tax or GDPR?
No. We're not tax or legal advisers. Revenue, the Irish Revenue Commissioners, publishes guidance on VAT for ecommerce, and the Data Protection Commission is the Irish supervisory authority for GDPR. Your accountant or solicitor can tell you how their rules apply to you. We work on how your orders, tickets and reports behave.
Are you a Shopify Partner?
Yes. Morsegrid is a Shopify Partner.
