Graphic Designer
Who we are
Morsegrid fixes what breaks when an ecommerce brand grows. We find the cause in a brand's own Shopify, helpdesk and ERP data first, then build the fix and train the team to run it.
We are a small, senior-led team with people in the USA, Bangladesh, Ireland and New Zealand. Trainees learn on real client systems next to senior people. We care about craft, plain communication and work that keeps running after we hand it over.
About the role
We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is central to building a compelling visual identity across our client projects, marketing assets, and social media presence.
The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, sharp design instincts, and the ability to execute quickly without sacrificing quality.
What you'll achieve
- Design campaign visuals. Design visual assets for social media, ads, email, and landing pages across client accounts.
- Build brand kits. Create brand kits, style guides, and reusable templates for recurring content.
- Produce ad graphics. Produce static and animated graphics for Meta and Google ad campaigns.
- Collaborate on briefs. Collaborate with the ads and copy team to translate briefs into polished visuals.
- Keep brands consistent. Maintain consistent brand voice across all design outputs per client.
- Iterate on data. Iterate quickly based on performance data (CTR, engagement) and feedback.
- Organize design files. Organize and manage design files in shared folders (Figma, Google Drive).
Skills you'll need to bring
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design (agency or freelance).
- A portfolio demonstrating range across social, ads, and brand work.
- Proficiency in Figma (primary tool).
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator (required); After Effects a plus.
- Experience designing for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google display ad specs.
- Familiarity with Canva for rapid-turnaround client requests.
- Basic motion and animation skills (GIFs, short video ads) preferred.
- You have strong visual judgment: you know when something looks off and fix it without being told.
- You take direction well and deliver clean first drafts.
- You communicate proactively on timelines and blockers.
- You're comfortable working async in a remote-first team.
Nice to haves
- Experience working with ecommerce or DTC brands.
- Familiarity with ad creative best practices (thumb-stop, visual hierarchy, CTA placement).
- Video editing capability (Premiere, CapCut, or similar).
- Experience with A/B testing creative variants.
Benefits
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Remote-first role (async-friendly)
- Direct exposure to paid traffic results: your work is measured, not just appreciated
- Growth path into Creative Lead as the team scales

A note on AI
You don't need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect everyone here to be curious and to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. When AI fluency is a core requirement, the role says so in the skills list. People who do well here use AI to think better and check its work before it ships.
Equal opportunity
We hire people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you're excited about this role but don't meet every point, we still encourage you to apply.
